GR846584 (resort boundary line)
GR839573 (southern ridge/start of run)
GR844570 (Grizzly Lake)Directions:
From the top of the Standish chair lift ski downhill west to a low point at the southern boundary line. If you have toured up to the resort follow green runs to the west of Standish to arrive at the same boundary line. Heading south west attempt to skin flat through rolling terrain until you reach the lower south ridge bench. You will likely lose/gain about 50m of vertical during the process.
You can ski downhill heading east/south-east from a number of locations to finish at Grizzly Lake. Do not ski the directly south facing slope as you may ski an open area which ends up in the Larix Creek drainage.
To lap the run head to the opening at the north-east corner of the lake and head north a short distance before wrapping to the west to gain the upper section of the forest. You will find several low angled tree lane ways that make for an easy up track in this area. To return to the resort do not wrap west from the north-east corner of the lake, rather head directly north to find yourself between Twin Cairns and Standish.
