Cirque Forepeak
Murchison Group - Alberta - Canada
Banff National Park

Cirque Forepeak is small roadside western sub peak of Cirque Peak which has lots of easily assessable skiing terrain. The tree areas here have everything from glades to true tree skiing with the more spaced out trees located in the northern area. The alpine slopes are often wind blasted but from time to time hold good snow and provides a very nice and long run. The north aspect has many couloir features which connect to the North Bowl found between Cirque Forepeak and Cirque Peak.

Drive up the Icefield Parkway and park at the Bow Lake parking lot where the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge road meets the highway. Walk across the highway. All ski lines start from here due to the way the main drainage splits the ski zone.
