Guidebook : Ski Zones

Taylor Lake
Bow Range - Alberta - Canada
Banff National Park

Lots of good options within the Taylor Lake ski zone regardless of snow conditions or skiing ability. Everything from low angled tree skiing to steep alpine couloirs can be found here. Access is just short enough to make this a good option for day tripping but there is also an official campground close to Taylor Lake for those looking to take full advantage. This zone tends to get fairly good snow fall due to its relative position to the glaciers to the west.

Directions:
Park at the Taylor Lake parking lot found on the eastbound side of highway 1. Follow the often well established trail that leads you all the way to Taylor Lake. All individual lines use the lake shore as a starting point. When leaving this zone use the same trail to head back to the car but make sure to make noise as you come flying around the blind turns.
